I am finally eighteen!!! :)

Had a wonderful night with my classmates at Fish & Co. on the day of my birthday.
Never had such a unique birthday celebration before.
Really thank all of you who were there! :) (including Carline's sis)

Oh and we visited the Istana since we had to wait for some people who were late :P
So our dear Mr Xue is now extremely proud after being able to take a photo with Mr Nathan.

Anyway there were many people celebrating their birthdays at Fish & Co. too.
And I just realised that the staff in Fish & Co. have their own way of singing a birthday song.
Very interesting. Except that the birthday boy had to stand on his chair and hold a sparkler while the rest sang the song.
Oh but that did not happen to me. I would say I got something better :)
Some of them wrote a note to the live band there to dedicate a Happy Birthday song to me!
How sweet! XD
I still thought they were trying to make me go on stage or something.
I would be so shy and abashed.
But it was really nice la. Having your friends with you on your birthday, and the whole restaurant knowing that its your birthday. :)
Haha. And Shir made me stand on my chair to blow the candle on the weird but tasty cake.
Lol. Then after that we went to Cathay to watch a movie preview.

Its just so difficult to believe what has just happened.
Totally unbelievable.
It is seriously making me lost.

Can't I even say my opinions?
Must I follow what you think?
It just doesn't make sense, does it?
Saying is much easier than doing.
And its totally contradicting.
Want me to be nice to him but also want me to betray and complain about him when he does wrong.
Makes sense?

You want to care about us.
But you just think the tangible stuff.
Do you try to accomodate our views and feelings?
You say I am irrational and talking rubbish.
You mean yours is totally logical?

I may be explosive, blunt and hot-tempered.
But I am like that when I see something I totally disagree.
When you shout and get worked up, you say you are like that, there's no choice.
Do I then have a choice?
Humans usually work on instincts and reflexes, don't they?
So if its my instinct to start yelling, I can't really help it right?
If you can be patient with his attitude and arguements,
you mean I am not entitled to that patience?

You think its so simple so as to just complain to you when something is amiss.

And some are manageable by myself.

Oh wells, the nats are over.
Yesterday was the last match of the season for us.
Basically we were so close to getting into the semis, but due to inconsistency, we allowed the RJ game to be lost. :(
But at least we can be sure that we have indeed left an impression in the A Division.
The team that doesn't give up.
The team that goes all out.
The team that fights back strongly.
The team that is strong and united.
The team that has made its worth in NJ.
The team that has improved the most since last season.
Most of all, the team that has made my life so much more enjoyable.
Thanks guys! :D

Come to think of it, its quite sad to see the season end just reasonably well.
And also that my time in NJC Floorball has kinda ended.
We know we could have done better but if this is fate, let's just accept it.
I will seriously miss the times we had in the gym,
playing out hearts out,
talking nonsensical stuff at the grandstand,
doing suicide runs and upper body training,
having dinner after training,
hugging each other after scoring a goal,
the words of encouragement everyone gives,
the girls and their weird gang,
the hard shots that leave red patches,
the words of wisdom from coach.

Nevertheless, I will want to go back to help out anytime I can.
At least I make myself useful right?
And it can also make sure my stickwork doesn't go rusty.

Leaving is such a painful experience. But leaving knowing that you have done your best is not.

A good friend is hard to find, but easy to lose.

hurray!!! the nationals are coming in 4 days time!
looking forward to it a whole lot!
after so many months of training and hardwork, hopefully it pays. :)
being drawn against rj and vj isnt sth to be joyous abt,
though heard dat rj is now quite lousy and mi is stronger.
whatever the case, i think if we do put in our best, 100% effort,
we will be able to at least get through to the semis.
as coach always said, now its only based on "on-court" performance.
no one cares how many goals you score during training.
no one cares how many perfect passes you can make during training.
no one cares if you can do an airhook.
the only thing that really matters now is on court.
i jus really hope that i will perform up to my highest standard and do my coach, my school and most importantly my team well.
and of course, i wont mind having supporters coming down. :D it really helps.

sdie track a bit, my cts havent been really ideal.
although i passed my chem shockingly, its really demoralising to see how some people can score so much more than you.
take a highly intelligent person in my class for example. XUE WEI JIAN.

Haha. Lots of people have been asking me to update. Lazy la. XD
Really very sian.
cts, training, scorching heat, A divs, prelims...
so many things to do, so little motivation to fulfil.

first, cts are horrendous! chem's the greatest killer!
then gp, physics n econs (on par i guess)
n maths is perfectly jus managable i think (fingers crossed)
hopefully, my results will not b as sucky as my promos.
they were totally disgusting.

but cts are now over n its time to play! :D
i have been looking forward to this period for such a long time.
jus focus the heart on floorball, training, fitness, a teeny weeny little bit of revision n relax!
n to relax after the cts, guess wad, we went sentosa on a 35°C day!
WOW!! now everyone is plagued with burns all over. lol.

Long time no post...

haha. long time since i posted. very tired mah. floorball and stuff...
anyway, tmrs gonna b quite a scary day.
we will be playing against ngee ann poly in a frenly. and it sounds hilarious.
1) they play in the top leagues and we are like underdogs.
2) all of them are big sized and aggressive. no chance for us. (jus look at me... :S)
3) they hav 40 ppl in their team. we are ald struggling to make it 10 ppl for our team.
haha. its going to b a difficult match as u can see. haiz.
the team is like being plagued with lots of injuries and absentism (which i strongly condemn) i hav not missed a single training without valid reason ok! :D
now we hav to only rely on the j1s and hope they can pick up the game fast.
den we can get them to join us for nationals :D

back to school, its really stressful.
so much assignments and work to do. esp econs essays. total nightmare.
top it up with floorball training and caal, really not much air to breathe.
but then, i hav to say training is a good way for me to relax and unwind.
i always look forward to them, esp court trainings.
anyway, kp's toe is much better and he can run without much difficulty ald. haha. good for him.
for those who din noe, he dislocated his middle toe. looked gruesome.
oh and it seems like scandals between 07s12 and 07s08 are heating up.
lots of scandals sprouting over the weeks. haha. and of course i am NOT involved. :D
(and i WONT want to be)
anyway i wont b releasing the names lest some ppl come after me. :P haha.

well jus to sum it all up, school has been rather boring. everyone seems to hav lost the motivation to study and are all looking forward to weekends.
e only thing i like? Floorball. XD

Hi to all! sorry for not updating. rather lazy u noe ;P
i shant really write about what happened during the holidays cos there were too many things. haha.
but i will just let photos do the talking.
as what nic soo always says, "a picture speaks a thousand words." :D

and anyway its the NEW YEAR!!! Woohoo!!!
jus get A levels done and away with and free as a bird! (at least for the few months b4 ns :()

but actually speaking of the new year, i haven really thought abt how i want the year to be for me.
Havent set any targets and aims.
haiz. but basically its the same old ones year after year.
1) get much better results for all tests and exams (didnt do well in promos at all)
2) attain at least top 3 placings for floorball A Div
and lastly,
continue having such good relationships with all my friends :)
they have been very nice to me all year round last year and i am thankful for that :D
(those who didnt, better feel guilty! XD)

oh wells, today was the first day at school. rather uneventful i must say.
but the new batch of jc1s seem to be swarming with rv and cat high ppl. haha.
but most of them seem to be quite "beng" one... haiz...
nvm not my prob. its the councillors' duty to bring them into the school culture.
though i must say its quite a failure i think.
i was walking down the walkway outside hall and i peered in to see wad was happening.
and guess what? i saw agent in there on stage leading the heartbeat cheer.
and boy, was the crowd so ever silent!!! ><
only the ogls were there cheering. haha. mayb cos the jc1s are new bah. so not motivated to cheer.
well, its too early to say anything abt this years orientation. hopefully it will be a success. :)

oh yeah, my afternoon was wasted in school discussing with the excos abt the cca carnival.
Horrendous i must say. Indespicable!
how can the school not allocate any space for us floorballers to play floorball?!
even cricket has a space! atrocious!
no use complaining abt that, cant do anything can i?
but the main thing was to decide on the souvenir and posters.
and as always, i am being pushed to take up the job of designing the flyer. how irritating!
lots of tutorials and holiday assignments not done and this thing crops up.
haiz........ but since i am being tasked to do it, y not make it a good job?
its a waste of everybody's time if i do it any o how...

Oh yeah! PWWWWW is finally over!!!! (actually two weeks ald) anyway the chalet was great! except that the bbq was quite disastrous due to lack of proper planning... (no offense though... :))

on e first day it was quite a bore. all we did was play truth or dare w our CT and watch haunter TRY to set up e fire. haha. obviously failed. cos snatching the fire from me and wj when we were almost there :(

then we played mahjong til 3am when everyone started to get sleepy. squeezed 7 people i think, onto 2 beds. needless to say everyone nearly rolled off when fred and sha got on.

And yes, kh slept like a PIG!!!!

supposedly wanting to make it in time for mac breakfast. ended up with me and fred trying to slam kok and sha awake w pillows.

woke up at 1030 i think, went to bk for brunch and went back to e chalet cos some pigs wanted to sleep. :( so poor me jh wj and fred were left alone to play pool by ourselves. after a few games, got sick of it and we went back to play mahjong.

oh yeah then fred and wj went to Emicakes to get a cake for kp's bday.

Yar. and mw arrived late again. nothing interestin after that.

oh no. yes fred crashed while riding the bicycle we rented overnight. haha. so noob :)

oh and den sha introduced us a new game which she den regretted cos she always got saboed. i dunno wad u call that game but its similar to truth or dare. u get a card ranging from ace to whichever no ( depending on e no of ppl).

den the Ace gets to run e game. he can pick any no to do any weird stuff. yes. so we ending up having lots of fun and hilarious stuff. like fred and kp acting out 床戏 and tiff having to lick jh's nose. haha.

sha was always the one doin the weirdest stuff, like acting out the mocca ad and being hugged and kissed on e cheek by jh. lol.

yes. after that went to sleep n yeps dats basically how e chalet went. :) Quite a success i must say. cos quite a lot of ppl turned up. :))

After a long week of horrifying pw, i can finally squeeze in some time to blog. Pw is damn freaking
irritating,
boring,
useless (except for uni admission),
time-wasting,
disgusting,

traumatising (at times),

stressful (lots of pimples:().

Haiz... anyway i shall not dwell on this any further. not interesting at all rite? but then this week has been rather dull and low. no new stuff to gossip. oh ya. maybe theres one about my pw group. haha.
seems like kp and gml are quite close u noe. hehehe :D
not only i hav said dat. even kp's frens hav noticed. well i hereby wish e both of u a blissful relationship (not marriage yet rite?) for eternity. :))

oh yes. and i am so worried about promos results tmr. so stressful!!! i even had a mightmare last night about it la! its like sheer torture to go thru the papers when u dont even know what answers you wrote in yr scripts. and then u start hallucinating about whether u really put this answer or not. Pure torture. moreover they wan us to choose our h3 subjects way before e results are released. how stupid. jus doesnt make sense. oh wells, jus too worried abt tmr anyway. so worried until i dun feel like doing InR, although e draft is due tmr. who bothers when its kt who is marking it? his comments are like so un-constructive (it doesnt destruct and it doesnt construct so i assume its un-constructive la). lol. haha. i think dats all for today. bye!

hello! i jus created a new blog after my old one was relatively dead (its still dying...). anyway this whole month has been such a pain. not to mention that op is jus weeks or away. so pressurising :( wr is killing me, with so much to add but too few words to use. and the headache now comes. printing. how on earth am i supposed to print two copies of wr with over 50 pages each?! how crazy!

well, never mind about that. i shall perservere and look forward to 31st oct when everything is over! :)
